Opening Remarks – Sensitisation on the Guidelines for Reopening & Continuity of Childcare Service

The Minister for Education and Human Resource Development (MEHRD), Mrs Jeanne Simeon delivering her opening remarks at the sensitisation session. It sets the scene for the four remaining videos where you can learn about the guidelines that have been developed in line with the three guiding principles – Heightened Vigilance, Hygiene and Social Distancing.

The videos were filmed during the sensitisation session held on May 5, 2020, in preparation for the reopening of childcare services on May 11, 2020, in the Seychelles Islands as they adjust to the ‘new normal’.

The Guidelines have been developed by the Task Force Sub-Committee for the Childcare Sector, which includes members from the Institution of Early Childhood Development, MEHRD and Department of Health.
