National Early Childhood Care and Education Forum

The Institute of Early Childhood Development (IECD) is pleased to invite your media house to the National Early Childhood Care and Education Forum for the dissemination of the Early Learning Readiness Assessment (ELRA) 2025 results.

The objective of this forum is to share the key findings of the Early Learning Readiness Assessment conducted in 2025. This annual assessment is carried out with children aged 3–4 years in Registered Centre-Based Services (Daycares), Registered Home-Based Services (Childminding), as well as in unregistered services. The assessment helps determine how well prepared they are before transitioning to formal schooling, particularly into crèche / pre-school.

The forum will provide an opportunity to present the main results of the assessment, highlight emerging trends, and discuss their implications for early childhood development and education.
