In line with the national drive for the digitalization of services and the Tashkent Declaration, the IECD-UNESCO Category 2 Institute, in collaboration with the Department of Information Communications Technology (DICT), has introduced a new online system in ECCE. The Child Care Benefit Information System Seychelles (CBISS), aims to support the management of the Government’s Financial Assistance scheme for registered child care service providers and parents.

We wish all child care service providers and parents all the best in accessing this first of its kind system and may you find it fast and simple to use.

CRIIS

As part of its digitalisation plan, IECD has recently launched a second digital platform, known as CRIIS (Child Care Registration, Registration and Information System). Similar to CBISS, this new system, CRIIS, was conceptualized and developed in close collaboration with DICT and SPACE 95.

This development represents another important step in the digital transformation of ECCE, in Seychelles, particularly in the child care sector. CRIIS is designed to streamline registration, inspection, and reporting processes, with the dedicated support of partners across relevant sectors, including childminders of home-based services and managers of centre-based child care facilities.
