Ms Beryl Laboudallon has been in the field of Social work for nearly 30 years come March. She began her career in 1991 in the Ministry of Social Affairs as a Social Work Assistant. After having graduated with a degree in Social Work from the Buckinghamshire Chiltern University College in 2003, Ms Laboudallon took the position of Principal Social Worker until early 2018. Her new position as Director of Social Services is a demanding yet rewarding one, requiring her to be on call at odd hours of the day. She is a member of a few boards and is currently the chairperson of the Social Affairs ECCE Technical Team. She describes working in the field of Social work as being challenging but she enjoys the fact that she gets to support individuals, families and groups of people. She has also had the opportunity to grow by attending international workshops and conferences.
